Janae Adolph-Eadie, BSW (Hons.), MSW Student
Student Therapist
Hi! I'm Janae, and I’m passionate about supporting families and children who are living with complex illnesses, disabilities, and cognitive impairments. I recently graduated with distinction from Toronto Metropolitan University’s Bachelor of Social Work program, and I’m currently pursuing my Master of Social Work (MSW) at the University of Toronto.
As a student therapist, I will be working under the direct and close supervision of practice owner, Roxanne Francis, Social Worker & Psychotherapist.
With a deep commitment to helping families, I focus on guiding them through the challenges of managing internal and external resources, ensuring they feel supported and empowered. My goal is to make a meaningful impact by helping families build stronger connections and navigate the complexities they face.
In my practicum with Francis Psychotherapy, I’m excited to explore different therapeutic approaches tailored to children and youth. Whether working one-on-one or within family systems, I strive to create a compassionate, understanding space where families can thrive.
Outside of work, I love reading, singing, and spending quality time with family and friends. Music, especially singing, helps me connect with children in unique and creative ways, making communication easier and more fun for them.
I look forward to working with families who are seeking compassionate and knowledgeable support on their journey.
I will be taking new clients as of November 4, 2024.
